Our automated Bollards have been crashed tested against a 6.8-tonne vehicle to ensure extra high security. Providing high security and reducing potential threats, Absolute Access Automatic Bollards lie flush with the road surface when at rest and reach 640mm or 800mm at full extension. Are bollards ram protected?

Yes, all of the bollards we provide at Absolute Access can be used to help avoid the risk of a vehicle-ramming to gain access. They are durable enough to ensure that almost anything hitting the bollards should not be capable of going back on the road, such is their durability and their design strength overall.

Are bollards useful for protecting from vandalism?

Suffering from break-ins and/or vandals? Then bollards can be useful for helping to stop these perpetrators from gaining access to your property. They can be used to help make sure that you are able to give yourself an easy way to put vandals off trying to gain access to your premises and thus avoiding the damage.

How long can bollards be?

Bollards provided by Absolute Access can reach around 800mm in terms of size when they are raised to their maximum size. These provide you with a minimum of 640mm of protection, ensuring that it is extremely hard for someone to bypass the bollards without alerting the rest of your security systems instead.

How long do bollards take to extend?

If you need to try and raise the bollards almost immediately, emergency systems included allowing for you to do so with ease. This means you can quickly raise the bollards quicker than the normal time so that, in the event of an issue or an emergency, you can activate security measures without delay.

Are bollards capable of taking damage?

Having crash-tested all of our bollards, we are confident that our options at Absolute Access are more than durable enough to take damage without cracking or breaking. This allows them to be suitable for taking physical damage from all but the largest and most significant of vehicles without them breaking, snapping, or cracking.
